Godby High School quarterback faces armed robbery charges

Tallahassee, FL (WTXL)--Godby High School quarter back AJ Graham is facing armed robbery charges. The charges stem from an incident last Friday. Police say Graham and an accomplice allegedly robbed three males at gunpoint. They demanded cash from the victims and fled. Graham was arrested May 26th afternoon only hours before he was scheduled to graduate from Godby High School. The second suspect in the robbery has not yet been identified.

Marshall University has decided to release its scholarship offer to Graham.  He was expected to play football at the school this fall.

STATEMENT FROM MARSHALL UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL COACH MARK SNYDER CONCERNING A.J. GRAHAM

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University Football Coach Mark Snyder has released the following statement concerning football recruit A.J. Graham who was arrested and charged with robbery with a firearm in Tallahassee, Fla. on Tuesday.

"Due to the situation, I have decided to release A.J. from his scholarship."
