On November 13, 2009 at approximately 10:50 pm, a shooting occurred in the parking lot area of 1409 Lake Park Road near Andy’s Wings and Things and Andy’s Place.  Eric Lewis, 22 year old Valdosta native, was shot in the torso while outside of the business.  He was immediately taken to South Georgia Medical Center where he remains in stable condition for treatment of a single gunshot wound. 

Two persons were arrested on November 16, 2009 for this incident.  Kareem LaDonald Foster, 20 year old Valdosta resident and Kareem Antoine McClary, 18 year old Valdosta resident have both been charged with aggravated assault and are both currently incarcerated in the Lowndes County Jail.  Additional charges on both subjects are pending.  Detectives are still investigating motive but it appears that this incident may have stemmed from a previous disagreement between the victim and offenders.
