SPRINGFIELD, Ga. (AP) - A Clyo woman has been arrested and charged after her live-in boyfriend suffered life-threatening wounds in a stabbing.
Effingham County Sheriff's spokesman David Ehsanipoor said deputies arrested 53-year-old Tundra Marcella Reed shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Ehsanipoor tells The Savannah Morning News in a Wednesday story that deputies found 57-year-old Earl Reason stabbed in his upper torso when they arrived.
A Memorial University Medical Center spokesman said Wednesday he had no information on Reason's condition.
Reed was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a knife during a crime. She is being held in the Effingham County jail.
Ehsanipoor said investigators believe the two were living together and other charges might be pending.
