New FSU Conference Center Being Built

Florida State breaks ground on a new project. The new 47,000 square foot Turnball Conference Center is being built at the corner of Copeland and Pensacola right next to a new five story parking garage.

School officials say the new conference center complete with an auditorium, a banquet hall, and classrooms will be among the best in the nation.

"This will enable us to become a university that is among the elite universities," said Joe Nasari.

The building, which should be finished by fall of 09, is named after a former FSU provost.
