FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Franklin County man is facing felony charges after deputies say he aimed a shotgun toward oncoming traffic.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says that they arrested Jeffery Thomas Monday afternoon.

Witnesses told deputies that Thomas was riding in the back of a vehicle and pointing a shotgun toward oncoming traffic on the Apalachicola bridge.  

When deputies found Thomas, he admitted that he was very intoxicated and admitted to pointing the shotgun out of the car. 

He has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
