FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A 16-year-old student in Franklin County was arrested for selling weed brownies at school.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, a student was arrested at the Franklin County School in Eastpoint for selling brownies with marijuana on Tuesday.
FCSO says the school discovered the brownies due to a tip from another student.
The tip led the school resource officer to the suspect's backpack, where the brownies were found.
They also learned that the suspected student had made a sale earlier in the day to another student.
That student reportedly ingested the marijuana and had to be removed from campus.
The suspected student is being charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school.
