LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Highway Patrol is looking for the driver in a hit-and-run accident in Leon County.

FHP says on Saturday around 9:50 p.m., an unknown driver was traveling on US 27 approaching the intersection of Crowder Road. 

According to FHP, another vehicle was stopped at the traffic light at the intersection. 

FHP says the unknown driver failed to stop and hit the back of the other vehicle. 

The unknown driver then moved to the other lane and drove off from the crash scene northbound on US 27.  

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries from the crash.

The unknown driver was last seen driving northbound from the intersection of US 27 and State Road 263 (Capital Circle NW).  

Witnesses are asked to call *347 if they have information on the hit and run vehicle and/or driver.
