TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the man that was killed after a head-on crash with a Leon County Schools bus.

The bus, 3031, was carrying two children from Roberts Elementary and one child from Montford Elementary when the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday.

Troopers say that 50-year-old Alejandro Sera was driving his Cadillac SUV north in the 11000 block of Veterans Memorial Drive when his car crossed the center double line into the path of the school bus.

The bus was unable to avoid the SUV, leading to a head-on crash. Troopers say Sera was pronounced dead on scene.

The bus driver, identified as 27-year-old Keyontra Barnes, and the three juvenile passengers aboard were transported to the hospital for minor injuries.

LCS says the remaining students were picked up by a substitute bus and are currently on campus.
