LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - If you haven't registered for disaster aid after Hurricane Michael, you still have a few hours.

The deadline to register for FEMA disaster assistance and low interest disaster loans is Monday night.

Low interest disaster loans have a low-interest rate, typically around two percent and a long re-payment period.

You can still register for SBA loans online or in person at the Leroy-Collins Leon County Public Library.

"We want to make sure people look at all their options. If you're waiting and waiting for your insurance to come or other means, you should explore all your options that's why people should register with FEMA and SBA to get their name in the process," said Mary Regan with SBA.

The SBA has given out $450 million worth of loans so far.

If you get your application in by 6:00 p.m., you have a 15 day grace period.
