Leon County Sheriff's Office searching for 'diaper bandits'

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Diaper bandits are the latest type of criminals being sought by the Leon County Sheriff's Office. 

LCSO says that two people walked into the Walmart on Mahan Drive on Saturday, July 7 with a box inside their cart.

The pair then proceeded to pick up two boxes of diapers and head to self-checkout requesting a "return." When they were told that customers service was closed for the day, the two left the store without paying for the diapers.

Now, LCSO is asking for help identifying the two people involved in the theft.
